Because of our efforts and your support the past 3 years, 2025 surveys have shown Curlyleaf Pondweed (CLP) growth to be controlled in Grove Lake! With any invasive plant, efforts are made to eliminate the plant from the lake. Current treatments are extremely effective, but is difficult to completely eradicate. A 2026 spring survey is currently schedule for the end of May to determine all densities in the lake.

Grove Lake was treated with herbicides, specifically for invasive CLP, on May 1, 2025 by PLM Corporation. The treatment does not have any affect to fishing, swimming or pets. It is advised to not water your lawn with the lake water in treated areas for 5 days post application. All affected houses have a neon orange sign on your shoreline.
